Best thing we retail investors can remind ourselves is that brokers are notoriously unreliable when it comes to providing investment advice or target prices that ever reflect actual outcomes.
The "consensus" broker target prices for MSB have, for more than half a decade, been consistently roughly double whatever the prevailing MSB share price was at any given time.
And, as MSB has lost 85% of its value since its peak more than 4 years ago, so too have target prices fallen commensurately after the share price....all the while neatly maintaining their 100%-or so premium.
You may as well take your investment advice from the nature of the splay of the tea leaves at the bottom of your empty cup, or from the pixies living at the bottom of your garden.
