A2M do & will face competition in China. Fortunately they have product differentiation in the A2 protein offering giving them the ability to defend & possibly grow market share.
A company such as BKL however have rolled out an infant formula no different to the standard formulas already on offer. They appear to be trying to win market share on brand value only.
A brand might be powerful but I'd prefer to have a product difference in the way A2 have, with which to capture & more importantly hold market share.
As an aside regarding posters to the dairy threads in general. Milk Powder & Infant Formula are two different products. It's difficult to comprehend some posts when the two terms appear to be used interchangeably.
Personally, I will be basing my A2 investment decision on the HY16 results when announced 17th February.
