montec, yes a dead cat can bounce many times...but each time it bounces lower ...something to do with newtons law I think ;-)
investopedia defines dead cat bounce as: "A temporary recovery from a prolonged decline or bear market, after which the market continues to fall."
the SEN downtrend has been going on for 6 months there's been a few spikes (or temporary recoveries) in that time, but it has always gone lower afterwards.
i got out long ago, but all the promises keep me interested, because if they come true sen could one day be in the asx200...and if thats the case i'd like to be in.
but im a patient man and there'll be plenty of time to jump in once a confirmed uptrend is in place.
why people like to hold in a downtrend is beyond me...but good luck to you :-)
