Absolute garbage, george. SBS did a beauty on the story. No shots fired, truck rolled over her leg, Iraqis picked her up gently and (treating her with kindness) took her to the hospital and then left. The soldiers then tried to contact the US soldiers to tell them that she was taken there and they can go and get her but they got no response. Instead, the US soldiers smashed their way into the hospital and about to shoot the surgeon. He said "I'll never forget that day in my life." A brilliant story. Lynch said at one stage that they (the Iraqis) had treated her well. Now, however, the poor girl can remember nothing! I'm glad she's well but we were laughing at the Iraqi Information person! Well!
