Well anything is possible. I cant see the Fed overturning the interest rate hike, but I can see them not raising rates for a long time.
I think they would lose face if they reversed an interest rate hike, besides it is only a small hike and really should not have had such a negative impact. But then again perhaps the market is at the very margins for the big players?
Like I said some time ago I don't think the markets will plummet. I do think it will be death by a thousand cuts. The US markets is hovering around 16000 just like it hovered around 17000. Rally's are much touted by the talking heads and then boom another 300 point fall. The markets are too controlled for a complete collapse.
