I remember, and my chart confirms, ANZ got down to and closed below $12 in mid Feb 09. That was down from around $32 toward the end of 2007.
I remember that clearly because I said to a mate at the time, "If I had $1.25 million to spare right now, I'd buy 50K CBA which were at $25, having come down from around $60.
That ANZ ~$17 sp you refer to was around the end of 2011.
Imo, the current selling still has some way to go before it dwindles out and a sp recovery can commence, but I've got no idea as to how low the sellers are prepared to go.
