I think you are responding to my much earlier comment about the despondency apparent on Hot Copper lately.
I'll admit I struggled a bit with the choice of selling out this morning and buying later at a lower price and... I'm glad I didn't. There's a lot of red flags but a lot of green lights too.
I guess my 'unique' insight into Slaters is I know the guys and girls there and respect their work. I also know they have great profit margins! Maybe now with the UK side I realise I don't know the business as well as I thought I did.
It is good to read posts like yours which put some numbers behind my experience. And in fairness, it's good to read others trying to knock the stuffing out of your numbers. It's one of the truly valuable aspects of Hot Copper.
