Buffett calculated his ratio by getting revenue (adjusted for changes in accounts) and then dividing it by next years incoming cash.
However all of the previous ratios were calculated on net OCF (i.e revenue - costs)
SHJ converts 70% of revenue into incoming cash flow where as most companies convert 70% of earnings into net cash flow
