Would you lend someone a dollar today to receive a dollar in 3 years time?
Cash is worth significantly less because:
1. There is a real risk that the cash may not be recoverable
2. I can park my cash elsewhere and earn a higher return
When you are arguing with someone about time value of money its probably time to stop posting
