I'm fairly sure the CEO was quoted recently as saying that the iron ore price would need to remain well above production costs "for some time" before they consider re-opening the NJV.
I think you're right about the $48-$50 range but it needs to stick above that for at least a month (IMHO) or they would be crazy to risk the cost of reopening.
