Yes, much better than a scattergun approach with too many products in development given the colossal costs involved in getting product to market. It avoids the problem of spreading the company's efforts too broadly and then being forced into a firesale of IP assets or worse.
Having an income stream seems like a very intelligent approach to help finance the company's future growth. Given this, a CR here or there is nothing to whine about when you see the soundness of their strategy and the colossal potential of the products, both currently at market and under development. Sensible post stonemason (as usual).
