The media has the world in a spin on commodity prices and demand and the gullible are being played on a daily basis. Our major newspapers and even the news feed here on Hot Copper change views and outlooks daily depending on how they want us to perceive that days trading.

All the journalists with any credibility or knowledge have now been replaced by faceless robots or sheep who follow whatever spin they are given to write on a daily basis.

Surely everyone else has picked up on this, its almost a positive story one day followed by negative the next and the swings in the share prices are being played in advance by those with media driven knowledge.

The game has changed now and seeing through all the BS and doing your own research is now not enough. You need to ride the rubbish that the media dribbles out which goes against many experienced investors fundamentals on investing therefore they aren't playing the game anymore and see better value in other investment areas.

When this happens it allows small volume shares to be dictated in its trading patterns by anyone that wants to control pricing and even now to a larger extent even some of the majors like FMG are having daily 5 and 10% fluctuations

The best shares I have for 2015-16 all revolve around stocks that don't attract media attention and fall under the radar, they are lucky to attract 10 posts a week on hot copper and some of them are up over 500%.

Just my 2 cents worth on a good news day for copper but just be mindful that tomorrows news could be the total opposite
