I understand they still hold the sqk's with most potential but they no longer entirely control the monopoly, which may prove to be a good thing.
Where is it that they acquired offshore?

Monopoly in Punt lost
Range Resources' claim, as the company with exclusive exploration rights to the semi-autonomous Puntland state in Somalia seems to have come to an end.
After a protest from Puntlanders, Range this week announced a "ground relinquishment program". Range said it would only dump areas it regarded as having "lower prospectivity" but admitted its original 212,000 square kilometre concession had been halved to about 100,000sqkm. Range was "pleased" to announce this clarification.
