But there are as many unanswered questions:
1. When is it going to be launched? Is there going to be a promotion campaign? (Apps remain virtually invisible without one) How large is the campaign going to be? (this will cut into our free cash flow especially when you consider that marketing budgets for other app companies run in the millions)
2. Whats the uptake by consumers? Is there going to be a significant user base or a niche app used by few people?
3. What are the substantive terms behind CSIRO/Datadot backing? Is there $$$ involved?
4. What does market research say about the size of the market for apps tracking food? What is the moat factor provided by Oziris to prevent similar copycats?
5. Are the patents going to be granted (they are pending ATM)? If so what do they cover?
6. What future licensing plans are in place to licence the app out to other food manufacturers (because the user base would be tiny if it tracks only BFC food), what $$$ is involved and most importantly when?

As long as those questions remain unanswered it is far too speculative to value it into the SP of a physical goods producer. I would much rather the market ignore it (and hopefully for Oziris to provide surprise to the upside later) then for the hype to pump the SP to unreasonable levels only to have it smashed when shareholders realise that app revenues are illusory at the present time.

BFC is a food company! Concentrate on that instead of letting an app cloud your judgement of BFC's fundamental value. It remains (for now) a bolt-on freebie that may or may not provide us with value in the future.
