In recent times the question has been asked on more than one thread, 'with such a great , needed project, how come the big boys are not buying in?' The consensus answer has been 'the big boys do not buy into risk, and they will not be interested until the project is derisked.' The two risks mentioned were primarily flow rates, and secondly finding a big enough source of fresh water.
This latest announcement seems to have given a positive answer to both of those issues. If the initial theory is correct, the phone should start ringing hot in the next little while and we should see a steady and well overdue rise in the sp. Here's hoping.
