I se what you mean ,,but rea is also a takeover target ,news corp might
make a takeover for remaining shares ..
and the overseas assets makes that even more attractive down the track ..
personally i would rather short bhp as a safer play ,the forward pe bhp is very high
forward pe rea is declining .. and a property crash /slowdown i think will not affect rea negatively earnings wise .. listings will stay on for longer more houses for sale ..
but share price might get sold of on sentiment ,so yes your short might pay of .
its a bit like playing Russian roulette with 3 bullets .. so many companies with declining
earnings profile in wrong sector so why short rea ..just my 2 cents worth i have been accumulating hoping they go to 45 will buy some more if they do .. i think lots of technical traders been selling rea cause of the head shoulders formation ...
