Hairyback, I'll limit myself to just three things that makes me think Malcolm Turnbull is a breath of fresh air compared to Tony Abbott:
1. Turnbull is modelling Stephen Coveys 8 Habits of Highly Effective People, Abbott practiced hardly any of them.

2. Turnbull is modelling Deming's quality management; Abbott just thrashed around.

3. Turnbull may support moving to a republic but he's following Cabinet processes as per the Westminster model rather than making unilateral Captain's Picks which came define Abbott's dysfunctional and alienating approach.
