There is not a lot crazy about being aggressive at the lower end of the market- but, much craziness about being aggressive at the top end.
I would disagree on there being winners out of the low oil business if the banks collapse -- there aren't many winners ever if banks go down.
Depending on how much collateral damage there is - only cash cow paying businesses go well in really bad times.
Homestake mining went strongly through the 1930 depression - one of the few that could turn dirt into cash.
AJX should be fine even if the poo seriously hits the fan - we will not do as well as many companies will just stop spending on anything at all - but, the military will keep going - and aircraft production and the like should keep chugging - and, they will be looking at ways to save money ----- they won't want their planes to burn up and sales stop because of it.
Plastics could be huge - as the plans are well advanced and any manufacturing will be going for cheap as materials ---------- you can't get any cheaper than plastic - unless you use air - but, making electronic boards out of thin air - is a bit difficult - plastic works better.
It is hard to predict how governments will react in a dire situation ------------- we do know a few things -------- 1. They have a record of taking your money -------- eg. Cyprus -
2.They will do something
3. The something is normally directed at the populace (unfortunately - that's us)
notice in Cyprus that they took cash ------------ they didn't take shares.
One might want to think about that if judging that cash is safer than AJX shares
that's a great thought to start the day eh?
