We need to accept responsibility for the actions of non indigenous Australians whose past behaviour wrecked aboriginal culture and their pride.
Here we are, telling them to hurry up and fix themselves up, and we ourselves haven't even reached the infant stage in reconciliation of being able to accept the change of date of our national day to a date that everyone can celebrate. Seriously, how pathetically weak is that. We have absolutely nothing to lose, and we still can't do it, because those with massive chips on their shoulders see it as "giving in". lol. So embarrassing.
Let's not lecture others about their ability to move forward.
