You are right, its not important that they were approached by them.

The fact is that SUDA is not a $1bn market cap company in the ASX300 that has many of the investment bank analysts covering the stock. It is very small (remember market cap is only US$20m) and needs to get its story out there and unfortunately the way the industry works is that they need to pay for what is hopefully access to a large reader base.

Alpha Deal Group's business model works if a) they can prove that the distribution of their work is extensive, and b) they prove their work is credible by putting valuations and price targets that are ultimately reached.
