Interesting Mongy but I'd want to see more than random patents in the same general field and the iPhone is probably as extreme an example as you could choose. As I understand it patents are extremely expensive and time consuming to produce and if your suggesting the company should burn money pursuing patents for every last little bit of research then they'll probably die doing so. Alternatively you might be suggesting that only companies like Apple need bother innovating, but that just seems a bit defeatist considering most companies start from humble beginnings and frankly I wonder why you'd waste so much of your time in the high risk high reward end of the sharemarket spectrum if you hold that view. Personally I'm well aware of the risks here but in the absence of a specific, credible threat to Ionic's future, such as you haven't yet provided, I'm keen to see where this goes.
