The good thing is that even though COP and CNE might have first right of refusal, but they still have to price match to gain that right. Remember the Heritage Oil and Tullow saga?
If ME is involved, they are just liable to make an offer that FAR cannot refused. If COP or CNE wanted it then they would have to bid for it.
A bidding war and all is forgiven on the "tight hole policy". Just at the moment, a SNE3 report that's as good as SNE2 is enough to get me thru the low POO (which I think is on the mend).
