Hi all,
Watching the banter between HC posters and laughing my head off. Some people surely have better things to do.... don't they??
Anyway, just a brief tale of caution to all those thinking they know the (share market) outcome of tomorrow's results. I expected a really good bounce today in the price of NAB owing to many factors including the release of their market update this morning. The price rocked out of the gates at 1.7%+ but before 10:05am the price dropped significantly, and pretty much traded in the red for much of the day. I thought I was sitting on a 3-5% gain a la CBA just a week earlier.
Just remember: it doesn't always play out the way you think it will. If there is money on the table at 3:50pm the day before the announcement, then maybe you take it. Just a thought.
