I remember the famines back in the 70's. Back then, this photo could be of the child's grandfather.
Then I can remember Bob Geldorf and LiveAid. Back then, this photo could be the child's father.
Today, we see the same photo, 40 years on of a starving child.
Countries haven't had to change, dictators still take cash and put it in Swiss bank accounts, civil wars continue, and the UN continue to tell the Western world its their problem. Sometime soon Africa and its leaders are going to have to lead instead of blaming white imperialism on all their internal problems.
