Does the short position on shortman represent current open shorts? ie Those who have sold but have not covered? If that's the case, I see it as only positive news as the stock price has not fallen despite the selling while PPT accumulates. That's 1.5million or so buy orders that have to be placed at some point or another and rising.
So it will either be that the shorts are correct and profit or they will be squeezed resulting in a very sharp price upward.
