you are not pedantic to me davin, the thing is to get it right, and what you are saying is confirmed on page 17.........however there is an expansion of this and a confliction of statements on page 4 of "introduction to cfd's"
after a phone call the bottom line is that you pay 0.5% interest on shorts and 4.5% interest on longs .............its to do with libor plus the interest rate for longs and libor less the interest rate for shots ......
I think you may have mentioned 0.5% ........ to me that so tiny as not to worry about on shorts .......
you might like to check that out and let me know if you think i've got it right this time....
