snuff, exactly, once the level of education of the workforce reaches the point where they can develop the skills required by the more advanced technology, there is no stopping them. Wages will increase, perhaps quickly, but the attitudes developed during the tough times will always give them an added advantage that will not be easily eroded away. Only when we see them trying to match us in the field of social welfare will we begin to relax a bit, because there are not many that can match us there.
