From my experience with BDR (i know that its nothing like SGH) but the scenario is very very similar, the CEO reconfirmed guidance twice then 2 weeks after the last reconfirmation he withdraws guidance.. We were all worried that guidance would be cut by 50%... he ended up lowering it by 15-30% i was extremely pissed off as the sharepriced continued to drop...

A year later when the financials came out they ended up missing it by 25%. I think something like this will happen to SGH, meaning EBIT will be 140-150mil..
