I am terribly sad to see the trial stopped, but it may be for the best, even though I have never felt that way. I'm surprised given Regulus's pop, that this trial would have been stopped. I believe that Gilead's decision to allow generics sealed the market for them. Dang.

The good news, if you care to believe there's some, is that the preclinical and clinical translated over to Hep B, which if they can harness right, would jump start Hep B trial I would think. Vector is the same, safety has been demonstrated, transduction has been demonstrated. It's just a shame that the trial was so restrictive. Ce la vie. Onward we go. It will be interesting though to see the viral load numbers eventually. That would still interest me.

Still wrapping my head around it. Surprised but not surprised. :-/
