Bit late but I think I get the last word.

I was not loose with the truth but did use poor English by not distinguishing the American use of the term bankrupt and the Australian usage. It seems to me that in the USA, personal bankruptcy and business liquidation are often termed "bankruptcy" but in Australia the term bankruptcy is a personal one.

Sir, I am well aware of the distinction in Australia thanks vey much. My partner was bankrupted many years ago by a bank and one of our private companies liquidated. That was then, this is now. We are now much better informed, well in front of where we were then and still active in the market building for our retirement to come.

I look forward to plenty of rigorous debates on Oz & USA politics in what will be an interesting year (DD anyone??).
