WangChung, post: Out of curiosity, can you provide some context around why this matters?
If for example, the cruise commences in Sydney, goes via Melbourne, Perth and Darwin. If the cruise takes 10 days to reach Darwin before heading off to Singapore. You spend another 6 weeks in Singapore before heading back home.
As far as I understand the system, you are considered by Centrelink of being out off the country for 7 weeks and 3 days.
As an example, if you are currently receiving the Energy Supplement allowance, you would start losing it after the 6th week of leaving Sydney.
One would imagine that you hadn't left the country until after Darwin.
