Pauljbo470, an excellent point of view. I am flabbergasted that a government that is supposed to believe in markets would be supporting continuance of negative gearing without any restriction. Its a system of subsidy that advantages those that buy homes for investment rather than owner occupiers which then results in a distortion of prices and young families being unable to afford purchase of a home.
