Telstra have not grown their EPS in the past 10 yrs. You are much better off investing in companies that grow their EPS and therefore grow their dividends much faster. If you bought MTU instead of TLS 10 years ago you would now have over 1000% capital gain and be receiving dividend yield of 100% on purchase price such have the dividends grown. Bugger Telstra. My dad bought at $7.30 years ago, great huh?
