If it is C18 that flowed it proves the reserves all the way from Atzam#2 which is 1.7 km away, if it was the same C17 section it still proves the field imo... They couldn't let that information get out it may value the oil field much higher than they farmed it out for which is ??? we don't know.
Its also a mystery why they couldn't obtain the information from schlumberger, as far as I remember they were the 60% owners of LAR and would have paid the schlumberger bill.
I feel it will all come out in the acid wash soon enough.
