Yes..GS does that. However think like this...if GS is shorting it now, they should put 'underweight' so that more people sell, and push the share price down, and they would buy at lower price. By putting 'overweight' now, how do they profit from it? They got 6.5pct stake, so they won't profit by putting a sell recommendation right? As long as you're betting in the same direction as them, at least you know they are not against you (hopefully). Not sure any smarter guy has other opinions..
