Oh well.... How many traders (leaving out skilled ones) do actually read the financial statements? Even how many investors read them before investing? By saying this, I agree that those statements are complex for larger market caps and hell boring but does it justify investing? Even trading these stocks can be a killer for those who are not trained enough like myself...
A simple effort to read the financial statements can save our capital... and if we can't understand them perhaps we are not ready to trade/invest yet...
Always need to remember that protecting capital is as good as growing it... perhaps need to control emotions and try to avoid being rich over night...
Feeling for those who held a stock went into administration... I been there by myself... pathetic experience to be honest!
