    Nobody has drilled "Tens of thousands of holes ready to be fracked."..

    If I am right the US largest uncompleted wells inventory is with Whiting Petroleum and that is around 945 "uncompleted wells". Remember they are already about to stop drilling. Also their operating cost itself is around $28 or nearby, excluding Capex (check their annual report). So it does not make sense to them to pump oil and gas and keep counting losses. Better not to start a new well and wait for 1 year let the price bounce.
