But surely they believe it will go up because it is a viable business and someone else considers its a reasonable long term investment
If they are selling they think its a dud of a company. Why would they have expected someone else to come along right after the IPO and say "wow, what a great company, I'm into this", but they know its a dud so they'll sell for a 30% loss
