They probably got a lower figure in the September quarter because they under-invested as they only had the new properties for a short period and it would not surprise me if the average AIC for the full year turns out to be closer to the figure I quoted. Time will tell. The use of the AISC figure is just pure fiction as it clearly does not capture all the costs.
