People should be happy and based on the divorce rate they may teach hetro couples how to stay in a relationship.
And finally, given same sex couples have children (and can have children via IVF/donor sperm, surrogacy overseasa) the horse has bolted so not sure what is the point of opposition. I think most people under 30 will vote yes - I have lots of nieces and nephews so know it is not an issue for them - and Ireland and Eurpoean countries already allow it. Time to get with the times and concentrate on more importatnt things. HC does not equal public opinion and my take is most of you posting here are over 60.
Whether this is a distraction is another matter given I can see more pressing matters - reduce the deficit etc etc.

churches WILL be forced to perform these - and pastors who refuse will be hauled before the courts.
just because ireland and the pope chooses debauchery doesnt make it right and there is need for us to follow suit. two men or two women and a kid does not make a family
