its just that jobs are a bit hard to find... so average joe cannot afford to buy a house and pays rent, so the investment property glut mentioned last week on smh can be funded by increased rents so no problem to economy as investors' higher rents can pay off their investment loans. Besides, most apartments bought by rich Chinese from overseas who pay cash, so how can the property market collapse?
