Seriously, did you just make that comparison?
The obvious difference is that XTV has the potential to earn many 1000s of percent more then your friends little restaurant could ever dream of,... in time. XTV is a start up tech company; it is perfectly normal for such companies to lose money from day one and then come good at some point. Sophisticated spec investors accept this as part of the risk of owning such shares.
I can't believe I am defending XTV, but the stupid comparison (and the Provigil tablet I took today) drove me to it
