Yes, China is not in a great place now. Living in HK for the past 15 years gives me good insight, and i can tell you that spending habits of the Chinese have dropped tremendously. The property boom was funded by corrupt money and will have to slow. Luxury shopping habits are trending down due to anti corruption efforts. The amount of dirty money that fueled the lavish spending is going, and the new reality will be a harsh wake-up call for those not expecting it.
