It shot up on the CDC announcement. Right at the time there was lots of China and Dairy excitement. Traders and investors loved the proposition so all bought in.

Then they realised that milk and money isn't made overnight and have been slowly changing their minds and selling out. That's about it really. Fundamentally the game hasn't changed, in fact - as per some of the excellent detailed posts above, its improved massively for AHF.

Its important to do your own research as to what a company is/does and how it is performing and you expect it to perform. From these prices if could well drift far lower still, or it could jump back to 40c - who knows, the Due Diligence might have exposed some issue with CDC and they might have negotiated a lower price (purely hypothetical). AHF isn't the best for short term positions imo unless you are a very experienced technical trader, its an agricultural long term play.

I bought more yesterday and more again today. Looking at a long term proposition (years not months). My first ever parcel of AHF purchased was in May 2015 and I paid 21c per share. Today, I managed to increase my position and the shares cost less than 12 months ago whilst the company is in a much better position in my personal opinion.
