Hi all, great thread really getting to the nub of the dilemma with FAR IMO.
I have said it before but will repeat it here that IMO FAR can simply not go the journey in Senegal as the costs even for our share will be very large. I really am trying to put together in my head what the most likely thing to happen is and I just keep coming back to a complete T/O of FAR as really the only way forward. Any suitor IMO will want FAR's share, and more, not a portion of it. The debt to finance 4 to 5 years away from production income can be ruled out, long time to carry that amount of debt one small glitch could see FAR in strife, so the only viable option is placements/cr's which as we know will dilute us to oblivion.
Somehow I can't see FAR staying on that particular merry go round indefinitely..... maybe one more cr to get the next 3 wells done but the problem I see here is what will the JV want to do? They may want to drill more holes in SNE which certainly won't have a dramatic effect on FAR's sp sure they may drill FAN but at this point it will be too expensive to exploit and expensive to drill also another well here could throw up more questions than answers.
In short I'm looking for a complete T/O with some value applied to all their acreage not just SNE and FAN.AIMO
