My understanding of the matter is this.
The 30 days Exclusive rights period stills applies for them to make the actual decision.
If in fact the decision to proceed occurs on the 30th day, then its impractical to suggest that all the relevent paperwork is signed off by all parties on the 30th day (lawyers, numerous parties, global spread of different parties) and then released to the ASX on the same day (30th day).
My understanding is 30 days for the decision, and allowing a week or so for all paperwork to be sorted, hence the "60days" suggestion by B&Y.
