Can't see why JC being rubbished.
Why the attacks other than envy? If the guy says he's cashed up because he's taken a position why even bother questioning the veracity of his portfolio. You'll never know. So take it that he is truthful as I can't see any benefit to him misleading readers. He's anonymous.

Personally I can see his concerns. I'm not as bearish but certainly not dismissive. Think there is plenty of evidence to support a negative sentiment but each to their opinion.

The interesting question that JC raises is this.
When you're cold on property and shares and you see the spectre of negative interest rates being touted by the various Feds. Where do you store the cash safely whilst getting decent returns ie inflation hedge?

How about it JC? Best bank rates Im seeing are around 3.7 pa. and their capped with bonus limitations ie Rsms Ubank etc
I don't like gold personally ...way too volatile and drop in AUD from over $1 US to 75cents in relatively short time. Also with oil looking steadier see gold likely to drop a bit. Anyway ...just not a fan at these prices.

So what to do with all that cash? Or you in a quagmire as well?

    Cheers.
