Add in AAPT and Hutchinson as well. There's plenty of niche players but only a few with decent infrastructure worth buying. Nextgen, Powertel, UEComm and Worldcom own networks and are struggling. AAPT has a brand and a customer base but is struggling. Hutchinson is a funny one because they are still spending but still struggling. There's Macquarie Corporate also - not sure how they are financially.

Telstra and Optus are out of the buying game - ACCC would block it anyway and Optus has cautious SingTel behind them and already have enough network.

I'm not stepping in unless I hear something juiicy on the grapevine.
