    Yes, I am aware of that but you didn't quite get what I was stating. The NXP solution requires that you tap the Gateway (I called it a hub). In most IoT architectures that use a Gateway (GW) or Hub, that GW is a powered unit which means you would have to bring the device to the Gateway to get that device onto the network. Try pairing your hefty whitegoods. Why bring the mountain to the controller when it would be a lot easier to bring the controller to the mountain.

    ADRC also has applications out side of your home. It's possible to connect to devices in a shopping mall. How would you do that with the solution NXP offer in their video.

    Just look at the video again. Think about how that guy would get his fridge onto the network
