Something strange indeed.

TMS opened the day @2.8c (minimal trading).

At 10.28, someone swooped, buying 2m shares @2.9 and @3c.

By 10.40, a further 180,000 shares had changed hands (hardly, a fortune).

Then, nothing, until 11.49 when, once again, some small trades occurred. This continued to be the case through to 12.45, by which time a further 130,000 shares had changed hands, and trading remained @3c.

Then, something happened. Suddenly, at 12.46, someone bought a parcel of 150,000 shares @3.1c.

By 12.51, the share price was @3.6c, with a further 500,000 shares changing hands.

Trading then exploded through to its current turnover (at 15.13) of 17.9m shares.

Over at TMSR, 3.7m rights had changed hands by 10.22 @0.002c, followed by another 3.8m at 11.12, @0.003c.

Since then, a total of 19.3m rights have been traded, up to the current price of 0.008c.

Asuming that the same person buying the rights @10.22, also bought the shares @10.28, and currently still holds both the rights and the shares, then that person paid $60,000 for the shares, and $7,400 for the Rights, for a parcel, now worth $74,000 (@3.7c), and $29,600 (@0.8c).

A nice return of 54% so far today.

That said, the coincidence in timing between the purchase of the TMSR's and of the TMS shares (ie: barely, 6 minutes apart) suggests that the 2 events were linked, but in the main were led by the TSMR purchases. If so, the TMSR purchase fed into TMS and then back into TMSR which then fed back into TMS.

So, was there really something of an inside nature going on? Hard to say unless Stocko knows something (as alluded to in his 1.30pm posting). If so, then today's trading may well end up being looked at further by the authorities, but if not, then it could merely have been a reasonably cashed up investor taking a position in TMSR in an effort to extract value out of TMS /R.

Or, as is more likely, it could have everything to do with TMSR trading closing today (@4.00pm).
